Best Western Tallahassee Downtown Inn and Suites

the staff was friendly since day 1. Gloria was amazing, and also the girl who worked in the breakfast area. Sorry, I didn't remember her name. The clean lady was very cordial too. I had some issues with the sink that was clogged-ish. The water took a very long to go away. The toilet was leaking a little from behind the tank. Those were minor problems that didn't bothered our stay.

The only problem we had was people outside with their radio blasting and smoking pot but once we alerted the staff they sent the maintenance man around....they didn't leave right away so we called back down and staff had to call the police and they cleared them out but that was not staff's fault. Other than that the stay was wonderful and so was the breakfast

The location was perfect for our needs. We were 8 minutes from Capital Regional Hospital, the purpose for our stay. The hotel was quiet, safe, very clean. The staff was very friendly. We did not have any issues during our stay.

Located on a major artery of Tal. between the Kohl's and Target stores the access road was a bit abrupt and wooded so initially, I missed the turn off and ended up in Kohl's but there is a secondary access directly adjoining the parking lot to the side of the Hotel. In the evening, when I returned after dinner, the whole Hotel was nicely lit up with security lighting. Surrounding the property were huge old Oak trees that seems in keeping with the feel of the city. Breakfast was pretty good. A hot buffet with nicely cooked scrambled eggs, and everything topped bagels, which I rarely make for myself. The room was the largest square footage of all I viewed in competing hotels while often being anywhere from $30 to $70 lower in rate. The front desk ironically said that the room Wi Fi was not as good as a personal cell phone data, but I had zero trouble with the room Wi Fi, very easy log on, never dropped. Room heater was set for 68F when I took occupancy, which was actually too warm for me through the night, having to cut it down to 66F and it was quite comfortable even though the outside temperature was in the high 30F's.

The gentleman that checked me in was great! It was late and he made it really simple and quick and was very friendly. Seeing a friendly smile after a long tiring day of college dorm move in and travel is always appreciated.
